Abstract
결론
정신박약아의 사회경제적 배경과 가정구강위생관리가 그들의 치아우식상태에 미치는 영향
을 분석할 목적으로, 부산시에 소재하는 장애자 특수학교에 재학중인 아동 중 정신박약아
82명(남아 51명, 여아 31명)을 대상으로 구강검진을 실시하였다. 이들을 고우식군(H-group)
과 저우식군(L-group)으로 분류하고, 그들의 모친에게 설문조사를 시행하여 경제수준, 모친
의 학력 및 직장소유여부 등 아동의 사회경제적 배경과 잇솔질의 횟수와 주체, 간식의 빈도
와 종류 등 가정구강보건 행동에 따른 우식상태를 비교, 분석하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었
다.
1. 사회경제적 배경에 따른 아동의 치아우식상태에 관한 분석에서는, 모친의 학력과 경제 수
준이 높고, 모친이 직장을 가지지 않은 경우 고우식군의 분포가 낮은 것으로 나타났다
(P<0.05).
2. 가정구강보건행동과 치아우식상태 간의 관계에 대한 분석에서, 잇솔짙과 간식섭취의 빈도
는 우식상태에 영향을 주지 못한 것으로 나타났다(P>0.1).
3. 가정구강보건행동 요소 중 잇솔질의 주체와 섭취간식의 종류에 따른 분석에서는, 보호자
가 잇솔질을 해주는 경우와 비우식성 간식을 섭취하는 경우 고우식군의 분포가 낮은 것으로 나타났다(P<0.05)

For the purpose of analyzing the influence of socioeconomic backgrounds and home
dental behaviour on the caries experience of mentally retarded children, 82(51 boys and
31 girls) mentally retarded schoolchildren in Pusan area were inspected for their oral
hygienic state and their mothers were interviewed with questionnaires. The following
results were obtained.
1. There showed lower distribution of H-caries group when their mothers were highly
educated and had no job, and their families were in higher economic group.
2. The frequency of tooth-brushing and between-meals were shown to have no
significant influence on the distribution of H-caries group.
3. The types of between-meals and the subject of tooth-brushing were shown to have
influence on the distribution of H-caries group.
